Metal plate set in pavement by the A225, in parish of SEVENOAKS (SEVENOAKS District), High Street, opposite No. 15, South of Church, in front of Almshouses, in pavement under railings beside pedestrian traffic lights, on East side of road. Tunbridge Iron plate, erected by the Tonbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LONDON 24 TUNBRIDGE 6 Kent HER.
