Metal plate (lost) attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of ALLENSMORE (Herefordshire District), minor side road at Tything Farm, off the A465, by the road. Hereford iron plate, erected by the Hereford turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (To) (Hereford) (4 Miles) Grade II listed.
