Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of TAVISTOCK (WEST DEVON District), Old Exeter Road; at junction with Barley Market Street, East of No. 7, on road against end of wall, in centre of road. Tall Tavistock marker, erected by the Tavistock turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- FROM LONDON 215 MILES OKEHAMPTON 15 CALLINGTON 9 TRURO 50 Grade II listed.
