Carved stone post by the A1, in parish of BUCKDEN (HUNTINGDONSHIRE District), Great North Road, South of junction with Silver Street, on grass verge, on Southeast side of road. Erected by the Biggleswade to Alconbury Hill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 61 MILES FROM LONDON ------ BUCKDEN Cambridgeshire HER.
