Carved stone post by the B6527 (was A56), in parish of HASLINGDEN (ROSSENDALE District), Market Street, Edenfield; by No. 18, on pavement, on East side of road. Erected by the Bury to Blackburn, Whalley etc turnpike trust in the 19th century. Defaced. Part of the inscription once read:- : (Bury / 5) : : (Haslingden / 3) : Carved benchmark right top; rivet on top. Milestone Society National ID: LA_BYHS05.
