Cast iron post by the A6121, in parish of KETTON (RUTLAND District), Luffenham Road, on wide grass verge back to wooden domestic fence of "Milestone", on North side of road. Rutland iron casting, erected by the Deeping & Morcott turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / STAMFORD / 4 / MILE : : KETTON : : TO / UPPINGHAM / 8 / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: RU_UPSF08.
