Carved stone post by the B3380 (was A38), in parish of ASHBURTON (TEIGNBRIDGE District), Buckfast Road, 200m South of Gage's Mill, under hedge after stone wall ends, on East side of road. Ashburton tombstone, erected by the Ashburton (Ashburton & Totnes Consolidated) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- (FROM) Ash- burton (I) MILE Grade II listed.
