Carved stone post by the A30, in parish of BASINGSTOKE (BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE District), Kempshot Park, near entrance to golf course, in lay-by, on East side of road. Hartford limestone diamond, erected by the Stockbridge & Basingstoke turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : 18 / STOCKBRIDGE / 14 / TO / WINCHESTER : : 3 / to / Bafins / stoke : : 49 / TO / LONDON : Grade II listed.
