Carved stone post by the lane, in parish of SHEFFIELD (SHEFFIELD District), Beauchief Drive, ¼ mile above Beauchief Abbey, under hedge, below wood and opposite dead tree, East side of road. Erected by a private company in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ( ? ) MILE : Milestone Society National ID: YS_SFBE01.
