Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of ANDOVER (TEST VALLEY District), Salisbury Road, by the road, on West side of road. Lopcombe pillar, erected by the Andover & Basingstoke turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : LONDON / 65 / ANDOVER / 1 : : LONDON / 65 / SARUM / 16 : Milestone Society National ID: HA_ANSA01.
