Metal plate attached to stone post by the A456, in parish of ROCK (WYRE FOREST District), Callow Hill, outside Milestone House, in the verge, on North side of road. Erected by the Welch Gate (District of Bewdley) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- BEWDLEY 3 MILES {arrow->} CLEOBURY {<-arrow} 5 MILES Carved benchmark and rivet on top.
