Carved stone post by the UC road (was A586), in parish of SINGLETON (FYLDE District), Bankfield Farm, by the road, on North side of road. Lancs. CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : GT. ECCLESTO(N) / 2¾ MILES / GARSTANG / 9¾ MILES / LANCASTER / 20 MILES : : SINGLETON : : (P)OULTON-LE-FYLDE / 3¼ MILES / BLACKPOOL / 7 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BPGS07.
