Parish Boundary Marker in parish of Rowton (Chester District), Shropshire Union Canal, Waverton, on towpath. The stone marks the boundary between Christleton Parish and Rowton Township, and the dates commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Rowton Moor in 1645. Inscription reads:- CP-RT 1645 - 1995 Surveyed Milestone Society National ID: CH_CHRROW02pb
