Introduction
The photograph on this page of Site boards by Bob Harvey as part of the Geograph project.
The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

At street level site boards conceal the work on the Majestic Cinema site, and above those is a huge advertising hoarding. There is a slight glimpse through the gap between them of the hollow void inside the retained facia where the building has been gutted (see Image for more exposition on the subject)
