This Grade II listed building https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254889 was originally the school attached to the Church of the Holy Innocents. It was converted into a public house called the Queen of Hearts. Nicknamed "The Tarts" it had a matching reputation. It closed in 2010 and acquired by Hydes Brewery in 2011 who reopened it as simply "256 Wilmslow Road" http://www.256fallowfield.co.uk/ Attached is the former Cheshire Cat also acquired in April 2011 by Hydes, modernised and re-named the Joseph Whitworth, then a further re-branding took place in early 2015 to give Beer Studio.
