Margery Fry (1874-1958) was one of the first female magistrates in the country. Active in the field of prison reform she was a founder member and first director of the Howard League for Penal Reform as well as working as education advisor for the nearby Holloway Prison. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margery_Fry
