Stone post (plates lost and replaced by replicas) by the UC road, in parish of TREGONEY (CARRICK District), Southeast of Freewater, North of crossroads, on road to Grampound Road, on the verge, on West side of road. Grampound iron plate, erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TREGONY / 1 MILE : : GRAMPOUND / ROAD / 3¼ MILES : Carved benchmark and rivet on top.
