Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of BICTON (EAST DEVON District), Yettington, opposite Combe Park Cottage, on the verge, back to stone wall, close to telegraph pole, on South side of road. Bicton pillar, erected by the Exeter turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO (EXON) (X) Miles To (BIC or OTTER)TON II Miles Grade II listed.
