Cast iron post by the UC road (was A40), in parish of WHITCHURCH (District), Crocker's Ash, 60m East of Landrover salesroom, on North side of road. Erected by the Ross turnpike trust in the 19th century. Broken. Refurbished before 2021. Inscription reads:- : TO / ROSS / 7 / MILES : : WHITCHURCH / PARISH : : TO/ MONMOUTH / 3 / MILES : Herefordshire SMR.
