Metal plate attached to stone post by the B1081 (was A1), in parish of STAMFORD (SOUTH KESTEVEN District), Casterton Road, by Nos 10-11, in pavement in low brick wall alcove, on South side of road. Boston iron casting, erected by the Grantham South District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : GRANTHAM / 20 : : TO / LONDON / 90 : : STAMFORD / 1 : Milestone Society National ID: LI_LYA90.
