St. John the Baptist, Granborough

This lovely little parish church is in the village of Granborough. The warm orange tiles of the chancel roof and the mellow stonework were both reflecting the autumn sunshine. Taken from the southern edge of the churchyard against its boundary wall. Most of this church is actually in the adjacent square to the north (SP7625) - but most of this southern façade is just inside this square, as is the churchyard before it, the gridline bisects the church.
