Carved stone post by the A683, in parish of HORNBY WITH FARLETON (LANCASTER District), 30m Southwest of the Old Toll House, Farleton, just past the sharp bend, on narrow grass verge in bracken and hedge, on South side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Damaged. Inscription reads:- : TO / LANCASTER / 8 MILES : : HORNBY : : TO / (HO)RNBY / (1) MILE / (KY LON)SDALE / (8½ M)ILES / (INGLETON / 10 MILES) : Grade II listed.
