South Molton iron plate by the UC road, in parish of South Molton (North Devon District), East of New Lights Cottage, (broken concrete support found 2012). Lost since 1970. Inscription reads:- FROM SOUTH MOLTON 2 MILES Carved bench mark below plate. Milestone Society National ID: DV_SMBS02
