Stone post (plate lost) by the A2, in parish of FAVERSHAM (SWALE District), Beacon Hill, 20m from summit, on bank behind footpath, on North side of road. Dover Road facet, erected by the Chatham & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Canterbury 10) : : (London 45): Carved bench mark. Kent HER.
