Stone post (plate lost) by the A251, in parish of BOUGHTON ALUPH (ASHFORD District), Faversham Road, Boughton Lees, by "Sunningdale", on wide lawn, South of Tower Farm, on East side of road. Faversham iron plate, erected by the Faversham to Hythe & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (FAVERSHAM) (10 MILES) (ASHFORD) (3 MILES) Kent HER.
