Carved stone post by the B1352, in parish of HARWICH (TENDRING District), opposite Fronk's Road (B1414), Upper Dovercourt, by the road. Erected by the Essex Second District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Stone is no longer visible at this location - new housing development. Inscription reads:- DOVERCOURT 1 MILE Milestone Society National ID: EX_COHH69g.
