Carved stone post by the A10, in parish of TOTTENHILL (KINGS LYNN AND WEST NORFOLK District), by trees, in front of multi-branched oak, well back in verge, on West side of road. KL gable, erected by the Lynn - South Gate turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- DOWNHAM 6 LYNN.5 Carved benchmark recorded. Norfolk HER.
