Drinking fountain, Shipton under Wychwood

The drinking fountain is dated 1878 and was erected to commemorate the loss of 28 emigrants from Shipton who died in a fire on the ship taking them to New Zealand. It was listed Grade II in 1986 http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=251773
