About half of this single storey block had been comprehensively demolished by then. This was part of the old isolation hospital that had been on site before the development of Newtown Hospital in the 1970s. There is now no trace of this earlier era in Worcester's healthcare history. I got a reasonably good set of the demolition over the first quarter of 2018. Following this my interest switched to work on the combined heat and power plant and then the new link bridge and Aconbury East refurbishment. As of February 2019 the CHP plant has changed little since April 2018, the link bridge is in use and having finishing touches and the Aconbury East refurbishment seems to have some way to go with work concentrating on infrastructure at roof level and new windows.
