Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of BRIGHOUSE (CALDERDALE District), corner of Ogden Lane and Victoria Gardens, Rastrick, by the road, on South side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ROCHDALE / 19¼ MILES / JUNCTION / 13¼ MILES / ELLAND / (2) MILES : : HUDDERSFIELD & NEW HEY / ROAD / BRANCH / RASTRICK : : BRIGHOUSE / 1 MILE : Maker:- : BRAYSHAW & BOOTH / MAKERS / LIVERSEDGE : Grade II listed.
