Carved stone post by the A381, in parish of Bishopsteignton (Teignbridge District), Newton Road, by "Caton" bungalow, 50m from bus stop; on opposite side of road, at road edge, on corner of drive, in hedge, on North side of road. Teignmouth facet, erected by the Teignmouth & Dawlish turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : (3 / MILES TO / TEIGNMOUTH / 2M . P. ( ) / MILES TO / NEWTON / BUSHEL) : : 2M . P.
