Carved stone post by the A682, in parish of HELLIFIELD (CRAVEN District), just South of Gallaber road end, under bushes, in front of fairly large tree (2011), on North side of road. Gisburn stone, erected by the Gisburne & Long Preston turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : To / Gisburn / 6 / Miles : : To / Settle / 5 / Miles : North Yorkshire HER.
