Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of WOODHAM WALTER (MALDON District), Milestone Barn, by low brick wall, on North side of road. Erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. Originally located at the West corner of the barn, buried during the war, then re-instated at the east corner of the barn. Inscription once read:- (Chelmsford) (7) (Maldon) (3) Carved bench mark on East face. Grade II listed.
