Carved stone post by the A137, in parish of ARDLEIGH (TENDRING District), Colchester Road, by the road. Erected by the Essex Second District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HARWICH / 18 : : TO / LONDON / 54 / Ardleigh : : COLCHESTER / 3 : Grade II listed.
