Carved stone post by the A31, in parish of COPYTHORNE (NEW FOREST District), Romsey Road, back of wide grass verge opposite a nursery, on South side of road. Romsey rectangle stone, erected by the Romsey & Ringwood turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 4 MILES TO ROMSEY RINGWOOD 14 Milestone Society National ID: HA_RORI04.
