Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of STITHIANS (KERRIER District), West of Pelean Cross, on bend, against hedge, unpainted, on South side of road. Truro stone, erected by the Truro turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- FROM TRURO 7 MILES (Painted on in 2009. Inscription previously chiselled off) Grade II listed.
