Carved stone post by the A307, in parish of RICHMOND UPON THAMES (RICHMOND UPON THAMES District), Kew Road, opposite Clarence Street, in pavement, back to wall, on South side of road. Richmond stone, erected by the Kensington to Cranford Bridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- VIII MILES FROM HYDE PARK CORNER Grade II listed.
