Metal plate attached to stone post by the B1231, in parish of SWANLAND (EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE District), Kemp Road, Swanland, on grass in front of garden hedge, on West side of road. Erected by an unknown authority in the 19th century. (Modern replacement?) Inscription reads:- HULL 7 MILES Humber HER.
