Stone post (plate lost) by the A438, in parish of WHITNEY ON WYE (District), 150m East of toll bridge, on hedge bank, opposite Wyekern. Hereford stone, erected by the Hereford turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- (T)o HEREFORD 17 MILES Herefordshire SMR.
