Carved stone post by the A65, in parish of PRESTON PATRICK (SOUTH LAKELAND District), Hollins Farm, Nook, 75m North of Summerdale House, T-junction to Farleton, on North side of road. Kirkby Kendal stone, erected by the Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Milnthorpe turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : KIRKBY / LONSDALE / 5 : : (KEND)AL / 4½ : Grade II listed.
