Carved stone post by the B3212, in parish of BRIDFORD (TEIGNBRIDGE District), 30m W of "Snaresbrook", quarter mile Northeast of Rock Valley Farm, by small lay-by, on grass verge, on North side of road. Moreton East stone, erected by the Moretonhampstead turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- III Miles from Moreton Carved benchmark below text. Devon & Dartmoor HER listed.
