Metal plate attached to stone post by the A4256 (was A45), in parish of DAVENTRY (DAVENTRY District), 50m Southeast of the A45 by-pass roundabout, on deep verge, on West side of road. Telford Midland milestone erected by the Old Stratford to Dunchurch turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- BIRMINGHAM 37 DAVENTRY ½ DUNCHURCH 8 MILES Carved benchmark lower front. Milestone Society National ID: NR_DVBM01.
