Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Woodhouse Hill, by fence surrounding house, on East side of road. Hudds 'To - From' stone, erected by the Birstall & Huddersfield turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : : FROM / HUDDERSFIELD / 1½ / MILES : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF05.
