Carved stone post by the A386, in parish of HATHERLEIGH (WEST DEVON District), North of Fishleigh Cross, on by-pass, 50m South of junction with old road, by path rising up the embankment, in low wall beside bridleway sign and path leading to town, on East side of road. Re-located during roadworks from further North by Stone Fishleigh Cottage. Torrington tombstone, erected by the Great Torrington turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- TO TORRINGTON 11 MILES Milestone Society National ID: DV_GTHA11
