The milestone is located 700m west of the A429 junction at the back of the wide verge against the wall, on the south side of road. Parish of Hampnett (Cotswold District). Stone post (plate lost), Crickley Hill plate design, erected by the Crickley Hill to Frogg Mill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- OXFORD / 27 / GLOUCESTER / 19 Milestone Society National ID: GL_AVBF05
