Carved stone post by the B3344 (was A38), in parish of HENNOCK (TEIGNBRIDGE District), Stokelake, 30m from road bridge of River Teign at junction with B3193, on the verge beside path at junction apex, on North side of road. Ashburton tombstone, erected by the Ashburton (Ashburton & Totnes Consolidated) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HENNOCK / FROM / ASH- / BURTON / VIII / MILES : Devon & Dartmoor HER listed.
