Cast iron post by the A171, in parish of NEWTON MULGRAVE (SCARBOROUGH District), just South of B1266 junction, on the verge, on North side of road. NRYCC iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : WHITBY / 10 : : NRYCC : : GUISBOROUGH / 12 : Maker:- : F MATTISON & Co / BEDALE : Milestone Society National ID: YN_WYGU10.
