Carved stone post by the A272, in parish of EASEBOURNE (CHICHESTER District), Easebourne Lane, against West section of river bridge, on South side of road. Chichester stone, erected by the Chichester, Dell Quay & Fernhurst turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO LONDON 49 MILES CHICHESTER 12 MILES Milestone Society National ID: SX_CCMD12.
