Parish Boundary Marker by the A6, in parish of Wormhill (High Peak District), Tomthorn, just South of Batham Green junction on verge, East side of road. On the former boundary of Fairfield and Wormhill townships in Hope and Tideswell parishes, now entirely in Wormhill parish. Inscription reads:- TOWN - - SHIP OF WORMHILL FAIRFIELD Cancelled carved bench mark on right face. Surveyed Milestone Society National ID: DE_FAIWOR01pb
