Metal plate attached to stone post by the B245, in parish of HILDENBOROUGH (TONBRIDGE AND MALLING District), by No. 98 London Road; Hilden Park, on grass between path and fence, on Northeast side of road. Tunbridge Iron plate, erected by the Tonbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LONDON 29 TUNBRIDGE 1 Carved benchmark lower front. Grade II listed.
